Verant Advisory respects your privacy and processes personal data only where it is necessary and explainable. This statement describes what data we collect through this website — in particular through the quick scan — what we use it for, and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who we are
Verant Advisory is the controller for the data collected through this website. You can reach us at info@verant-advisory.com. We are based in Amsterdam and Groningen.
What we collect
Quick scan and contact: your email address (required so we can send you the report), optionally your name and your firm's name, and the answers you give in the scan. We use those answers to produce your personal readiness report.
Technical data: when you submit the form we process your IP address, solely for security and abuse prevention.
Website analytics: we measure website usage with Umami, a cookieless, privacy-friendly tool we self-host. No tracking cookies are set and no personal profiles are built.
Why we use your data
To send you the requested readiness report, to reach out once about the outcome, to deliver and improve our services, and to keep the website secure.
Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent (requesting the report) and our legitimate interest (security and improving our services). You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. We use a few processors that help us deliver the service: Cloudflare (hosting and delivery of the website), Resend and Amazon SES (email delivery, within the EU region) and our own self-hosted analytics. Standard data-processing terms apply with these parties.
Retention
We keep your data no longer than necessary for the purposes above, and at most 24 months after the last contact, unless you request earlier deletion or a longer period is legally required.
Transfers outside the EU
Your data is processed and stored within the European Union.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Send your request to info@verant-advisory.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Changes
We may update this statement from time to time. The date at the top reflects the latest change.
